On January 17 we were excited to launch the Pact testnet and give our community the opportunity to test out the speed and user-friendly experience of our platform for the first time.

Since the launch, our testnet has been road-tested thoroughly by our amazing community in a sandboxed environment. Their welcome feedback has been extremely helpful. We’ve been listening intently to ensure our team builds an even more robust Automated Market Maker.

With mainnet only weeks away, the testnet phase has proven to be a highly valuable step on the journey, shaping the platform. The community has been useful in actively identifying anticipated bugs expected through this phase of the platform build. As a result of their hard work, the team have already successfully addressed these to enhance the performance of the platform. Significant focus and time has gone into improving the mobile UX, changing user notifications structures, and correcting functional bugs.

It’s been great to see the majority of users have been reporting positive experiences when using the testnet. We’ve recorded tens of thousands of pool interactions, from thousands of unique wallets, with interestingly, the highest traffic pool being the goBTC<>Algo pool.

Many of the key improvements will go a long way to ensuring we uphold our core values of a safe, frictionless, elegant, and supportive product. In doing so, we’re on track to deliver a renaissance where the blockchain meets human-centric design for an effortless user experience.

The feedback the community continues to provide is invaluable in allowing Pact to progress in becoming the Home of Liquidity as it approaches mainnet. We’d like to thank our moderators who’ve been pivotal in communicating between our amazing community and developers, allowing them to action the most valuable improvements.
